A nude female figure drifts through a surreal Wonderland of deep blue floors and terracotta skies, surrounded by vibrant bougainvillea blooms. Her journey is fragmented by a water mirror, distorting the boundary between dream and reality.

"Alice" is a part of Alex Sher’s series REFLECTIONS underwater photographs that could be almost mistaken for abstract paintings as they bring up recollections of masterpieces by Picasso, Dali or Gustav Klimt. In fact REFLECTIONS are photographs of the water surface taken with underwater cameras looking from the water depth up, toward the surface.
